Happy Friday! Fabian and I are heading to Napa for a long weekend today and are so excited to revisit some of our favorite wineries and restaurants. In the meantime, we’ve been busy working on client projects, a very exciting product launch that is just around the corner, and we are constantly getting new things at Paloma & Co. It is so fun to rearrange things in the shop on a daily basis. In the meantime, here is what has been on my radar lately.

Design: The March issue of House Beautiful features a bold and beautiful New York townhouse designed by my friend, Nick Olsen. I especially love the image of the living room on the cover with its sumptuous green palette and beautiful Chinoiserie panels. You can see the full tour here.

Style: We have lost two giants in the world of style this week with the passing of Lee Radziwill and Karl Lagerfeld. Lee was a woman of inimitable style, grace, and moxie. I have always admired her tenacity and impeccable taste. Karl Lagerfeld is among the most important and prolific designers we have seen in our lifetime. A true individual and visionary, he was incredibly gifted and always had the best bon mots. The world is a little less bright with the loss of these titans of style. For more on Lee, I would recommend reading Jackie, Janet & Lee: The Secret Lives of Janet Auchincloss, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and Lee Radziwill, The Fabulous Bouvier Sisters: The Tragic and Glamorous Lives of Jackie and Lee, and Lee, the fabulous coffee table book from Assouline. For more on Karl, The World According to Karl is a fun book for his fantastic quips; Chanel: The Complete Karl Lagerfeld Collections; and  the newly released Karl Lagerfeld: Paris Photo.

Culture: The Argentinian artist credited with founding the Spatialist movement, Lucio Fontana has a new exhibit, Lucio Fontana: On the Threshold at both The Met Breuer and The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Fifth Avenue in New York. He is widely known for his Cuts series which have become symbols of the Post-War era.

Beauty: I recently received a preview of Oribe’s new Cote D’Azur skincare collection. I am a faithful devotee of Oribe’s Magnificent Volume collection, so I jumped at the chance to expand beyond Oribe’s hair care products and try their skincare. As you know, no matter the care one takes with the skin on their face, one’s neck and hands can appear much older if they do not receive the proper care. I am constantly moisturizing my hands and usually use the same exfoliating treatment I use on my face on the delicate skin on the back of my hands. The Oribe Cote D’Azur collection smells divine. I use the Refining Hand Scrub every couple of days. It exfoliates really well and is simultaneously moisturizing which you don’t typically see in an exfoliator. For day to day, I have been using the Revitalizing Hand Wash and Nourishing Hand Creme.

Events: It is hard to believe that March is just around the corner. Houstonian’s, mark your calendars because that means that it is almost time for the River Oaks Garden Club’s annual Azalea Trail which will take place March 1st-3rd. It’s always so fun to see the beautiful homes and gardens.

Shop: It has been downright dreary in Houston for the past couple of day. The cold, rainy weather has me dreaming of sunnier shores. Our trip back to Round Hill in Jamaica can’t come soon enough! If you are planning a warm weather getaway some time soon, I will just have to live vicariously through you! I am currently eyeing this chic caftan, these fun earrings which are under $50, and this timeless woven bag that works year round!
