Happy Friday! I hope you had a nice Valentine’s Day. It’s been a busy few weeks with a little travel for my book tour, client projects, and getting our new shop, Paloma & Co up and running. Our brick and mortar is open in Houston and we will be launching a corresponding e-commerce website very soon! We are super excited about getting our website up and running because a good deal of our customers live outside of Houston and having the website will make the shopping experience much more seamless. In the meantime, New York Fashion Week has just ended and I have been feeling rather inspired in a multitude of ways. Here is what has been on my radar lately. Have a wonderful weekend!

Design: Fashion insider and former Harper’s Bazaar editor, Derek Blasberg’s chic apartment is featured in the new issue of Architectural Digest. Derek worked on the apartment with designer Virginia Tupker who used a custom-colored Ralph Lauren windowpane Tattersall wool in the bedroom.

Style: As always, Oscar de la Renta put on a fabulous show at New York Fashion Week.  The Fall collection was filled with sumptuous textures and rich jewel tones. I love the bohemian luxe look pictured here.

Watch: Before Prince Harry was considered the naughty royal, Princess Margaret rebelled against the crown and everything it represents. From her romances to gallivanting with celebrity friends, the new PBS docuseries, Margaret: The Rebel Princess chronicles the life of the Queen’s younger sister.

Read: One of my favorite design books to be released recently is the latest tome from my friends at Kravet. Written by the talented Jennifer Boles who researched the greatest designers of the past 100 years along with veteran editor, Stephen Drucker, Inspired Design is a must for any interior designer or design enthusiast.

Cook: I find that some weeks, it can be really difficult to find the time or energy to cook even though  Fabian and I both enjoy cooking. I also have been making a conscious effort to try to eat better, so I pulled out one of my favorite healthy cookbooks, Skinnytaste this weekend and planned ahead for meals for us to cook Sunday through Wednesday. This particular book features recipes for Chicken Cordon Bleu Meatballs and Mongolian Beef that we love and actually reheat very well so I don’t have to worry about lunch. Breaking for lunch in the middle of the work day is kind of the bane of my existence. I find it really messes up my flow. Anyhow, I was happy to find that the author, Gina Homolka has since released three more cookbooks– Skinnytaste: One and Done,  Skinnytaste Fast and Slow, The Skinnytaste Air Fryer Cookbook with healthy recipes which I will be adding to my cookbook shelf!

Shop: This certainly isn’t revolutionary– classics are timeless after all! However, updated classics such as this great blazer, cropped boot cut jeans, striped tee, and chic bracelet are as timeless as they are current.
