Next week, I will be in Birmingham, a city I have been wanting to spend more time in for a while! There is so much design talent in Birmingham from amazing interior designers and architects to wonderful artists. The village of Mountain Brook in particular is home to beautiful houses as well as some fabulous shops including Maison, an ultra chic design destination curated by interior designer, Pam Evans. Antiques at the Gardens, Mountain Brook’s annual antiques show is taking place next weekend October 4th – 7th with keynotes and panels featuring an amazing line-up including Martha Stewart and Kevin Sharkey, Richard Keith Langham, Meg Braff, Suzanne Kasler, Nick Olsen, and Bettie Bearden Pardee. The day before, the village of Mountain Brook is hosting an open house with events at the shops throughout the village and I will be at Maison for a book signing for Dream Design Live on the afternoon of October 3rd from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
