Happy Friday! It’s been a very long time since I have shared a Friday Favorites. I apologize for the radio silence, but between our roster of design projects, travel commitments, and Paloma & Co, it can be hard to find enough time to sit and focus on these kinds of posts as often as I would like. But alas, here we are and I have some fun, new things to share!

Design: I love reading foreign design magazines and if I don’t speak the language, looking at the beautiful photos is also inspiring. Luckily, I am fluent in Spanish, so I subscribe to AD Spain which featured the most beautiful project by A-List designer Lorenzo Castillo. It makes me want to jet of to Spain immediately!

Style: Have you watched The Politician on Netflix yet? I binge-watched the series a couple of weekends ago and really enjoyed it. It was campy, the sets were beautiful, and if you haven’t watched it yet, you absolutely must if only for Gwyneth Paltrow’s character’s wardrobe which is CHIC! Gwyneth always slays, even when in character.

Beauty: I recently discovered a favorite new serum. I am pretty obsessive about skin care and received a sample of Kate Sommerville’s Wrinkle Warrior 2-in-1 Anti Wrinkle Solution when I purchased another one of my favorite products, the Dermal Quench Liquid Lift which I have sworn by for years. I ordered the full size Wrinkle Warrior after two uses because I was so impressed with the results! Granted, I don’t have deep wrinkles and my skin is generally in good shape for a 37 year old who doesn’t get Botox. Wrinkle Warrior serum features a special HA3 complex, a special Hyaluronic Acid with the ability to hold 1,000 times its weight in water, which lends a plumping effect to the skin. Lately, I’d been noticing a smile line next to my mouth and when I apply the Wrinkle Warrior serum, it is nearly undetectable! You can try the product out in this discovery set if you’d prefer to give it a go before committing to the full size bottle.

Watch: While on a flight home from meeting with our client in Chicago on Tuesday night, I watched a couple of episodes of Killing Eve. I know that I am a few years late to the party, but this show is GOOD! It is so intriguing and it doesn’t hurt that it is set in beautiful places like London, Paris, and Tuscany. I almost prefer to discover a show kind of late in the game because it means that I can indulge in more episodes at once!

Read: There are so many great new design books out this season! I am especially thrilled for my good friends, Lauren Liess and Caitlin Flemming whose new books, Down to Earth and Travel Home were recently released! The three of us go way back to the early days of blogging and it has been so fun to see these inspiring women’s careers take off to soaring heights.

Events: If you plan to be in High Point for furniture market next week, I hope you will join me for a book signing of Dream Design Live at the Tommy Mitchell Showroom from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 19th. For our Houston friends, we hope you’ll join us on Thursday, October 24th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm for an intimate showcase and cocktail party in honor of two of our favorite artists at Paloma & Co, Alexis Walter and Josh Young. Mark your calendars!

Shop: Moda Operandi is currently running a trunk show with one of my favorite shoe brands, Loeffler Randall. The new collection is perfect for holiday with bows, pearls, and metallics all executed in a chic way! I have this pair on my wish list; this pair is super chic and versatile; and I have a version of this shoe in gold with a higher heel that I love and find super comfortable.
