Hello, hello—Jeanne Davis here at LDV! Paloma is jetting off to Birmingham to sign copies of Dream Design Live while here at the office we’re blushing over her Mood post for October. (Spoiler: It’s pretty and pink!)
While the cat’s away, the mice will flip through the newest issue of Traditional Home. And boy-oh-boy—the September/October issue is a design doozie thanks to the Southern Style Now Showhouse feature. As you recall, Paloma designed the beautiful Dauphine Suite for the 2016 showhouse in New Orleans. (That deGournay wallpaper! Those Schumacher fabrics! That custom chandelier by Julie Neill!) It’s no wonder it’s also the cover of Dream Design Live. That bedroom room was just so darn dreamy.
This year’s showhouse in Savannah is equally inspiring thanks to a fresh crop of impeccable Southern decorators, including Melanie Turner, Jared Hughes, and Genifer Sohr of Pencil and Paper Co. We’re loving the bold prints, vibrant colors, and strong points of view each room brings to the restored 1854 Greek Revival house. It truly mixes all the fixins’ of a true Southern home. Take a peek below and pick up the latest issue of Traditional Home for the full tour.
