My friend, Michelle Adams, co-founder of Lonny and former Domino Editor-in-Chief moved back to her native Michigan a couple of years ago after growing tired of the hustle and bustle of living in Manhattan. Since then, she launched her online shop, The Maryn, a beautifully-curated online destination with great items from multiple categories including furniture, bed and bath, tabletop, art, decor, and even a “shop with a purchase” section with pieces that include a charitable component. The Maryn is undergoing an evolution and will be relaunching as “an editorial destination dedicated to the pursuit of living well.” Just this weekend, Michelle shared a teaser of what’s to come with a shoppable tour featuring the Chicago studio of the Chicago-based artist, Josh Young. The ultra-chic studio is dressed in layered neutrals with a variety of textures, creating the perfect environment in which for Josh to create his contemporary art. You may remember Josh from our Josh Young x Paloma Contreras collaboration we launched around this time last year or perhaps you follow him on Instagram (if you don’t, you definitely should!) Be sure to check out Josh’s interview with The Maryn for a dose of inspiration. One thing is for sure, both Josh and The Maryn are “ones to watch”. I’m looking forward to seeing what they’ll do next!
