It may be the holiday season, but it is also a season for growth at Paloma Contreras Design as we expand the team at our design firm and as we begin to launch Paloma & Co, our fabulous, new shop which will open in early 2019! We are looking for a couple of qualified candidates to join our growing team. OFFICE MANAGER

PALOMA CONTRERAS DESIGN, the nationally-lauded interior design firm based in Houston, TX, is looking for a talented and tenacious team member to join the company as it embarks on exciting new ventures. We are seeking a self-starting office manager to keep our fast-moving ship afloat by managing the nuts and bolts of our growing interior design firm, as well as our new retail concept, PALOMA & CO. An ideal team member thrives in a fast-paced creative environment with immaculate attention to detail and above-and-beyond organizational prowess.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes, but not limited to:

—Proficiency in Excel and Quickbooks;Studio Designerand Shopify area plus

—Creating and managing team schedule and calendar

—Track team wide time-billing and bill clients accordingly

—Bi-weekly payroll management

—Manage client accounts, billing, received payments, and check reconciliations

—Prepare necessary documents for accountant

—Responsible for daily accounting, bookkeeping, and cash flow management

—Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards

—Compile and topline P&L’s for monthly reporting meetings
—Manage filing of quarterly sales tax and yearly annual reports

—Act as gatekeeper for design firm and handle early stages of design inquiries and prospective client interviews

—Work with PALOMA AND CO owners to write purchase orders, track orders, receive orders, add inventory to Quickbooks, update Shopify for the website, and fulfill online orders

—Assist with storemerchandising

—Manage items received at Receiver for design firm and store; handle any damages that may arise

—Compile sales analytics to review monthly for PALOMA AND CO

—Assist with website development and maintenance coordination

—Work with marketing team on special projects

—Assist with planning special events in store

—Manage office and store supplies

This position is a fabulous opportunity to work directly alongside the Principal, Paloma Contreras, and offers invaluable exposure to the many facets of the interior design business, including residential interiors, product design, publishing, and social media.

SALES ASSOCIATE

Are you a design enthusiast who loves being surrounded by beautiful wares while helping clients discover the perfect products for their home? PALOMA & CO., a new concept store by Paloma Contreras and Devon Liedke coming to Houston in January 2019, seeks an experienced, energetic, and friendly sales associate to spearhead the day-to-day operations of the brick-and-mortar extension of Paloma Contreras Design, the acclaimed high-end design firm based in Houston, Texas.

This full-time or part-time position involves many evolving tasks, including but not limited to:

— Graciously engage with clients in showroom in a courteous and knowledgeable manner
— Provide unbeatable and immediate customer service to clients via phone, email, and in person

— Assist with sales quotes, order entries, and follow-ups

— Manage client inquiries, product requests, and in-store and online orders (including order updates and lead times)

— Generate and maintain relationships with clients; update client database

— Track inventory and orders

— Update and organizemerchandise to showroom standards

— Make bank deposits and store-related errands, including fulfilling online orders at the post office, etc.

—Reliable form of transportation required
