Paris Perfect: The Best Apartment Rentals in Paris

A couple of weeks ago, my Paloma & Co partner, Devon and I flew to Paris to shop for antiques, art, and vintage treasures for our store. We visited my favorite antiques dealers, found fabulous new resources, filled an entire container with pieces that will make their way to Paloma & Co very soon and had a wonderful time along the way. Since we were there for a work trip, we opted to rent an apartment instead of staying in a hotel. Doing so is not only more cost-efficient for a business trip with multiple people, but it was more conducive to enjoying the city like locals (we bought some amazing cheese, beautiful berries, good crusty bread); getting some work done, and coming up with a game plan for the next day at the end of each evening. I had previously stayed in a Paris Perfect apartment on my first antiques shopping trip with Huff Harrington a couple of years ago and loved that their apartments are mostly located in the 7th arrondissement on the left bank which happens to be one of my favorite neighborhoods for its proximity to everything, charming Champ de Mars, and good shopping and dining. Paris Perfect also happens to have an office in the neighborhood where everyone speaks English and they make the entire experience completely seamless for their guests.

Founded in the late 1990s, Paris Perfect offers an incredible portfolio of more than 100 apartments in Paris, mostly concentrated in the 6th and 7th arrondissements on the Left Bank. Paris Perfect founder Madelyn Byrne personally vets all of the apartments in their portfolio and helps redesign and decorate the apartments, often sourcing décor from the Paris flea markets. We stayed in the Beaujolais apartment on the charming Avenue Bosquet. The apartment has fabulous views of the Eiffel Tower from the dining room, living room, and master bedroom and is perfectly located near the Ecole Militaire. We were also very close to the Rue Cler with its lovely cafes, flower shops, and gourmet food stands. The apartment has two spacious bedrooms and two full baths. Both Devon and I thought the beds and bedding were extremely comfortable, which was wonderful at the end of each day after shopping for 12 hours and then indulging in one of several delicious dinners.

I studied French throughout middle school and high school and have considered myself to be a francophile since then. I love so much about French culture– the arts, architecture, food, history… I could go on! If I’d only known then that my career would afford me the opportunity to travel to my favorite city so frequently, I know I would have been overjoyed. I certainly am now. As Paloma & Co continues to grow, we anticipate the our trips to Paris will be even more frequent. I dream of having a little pied-a-terre in Paris some day.
