As we head into our third week of social distancing and working from home, you may be wondering how to look polished for all of your Zoom meetings and FaceTime cocktail hours without sacrificing comfort. I find that chic, but comfortable dresses are just the thing! It just so happens that I learned about a new brand last week from the talented photographer, Claiborne Swanson Frank who shot the maiden campaign for the the brand. Daphne Wilde was founded by Britt Wallach whose mission is “for women to look as stylish ‘off-duty’ as ‘on’-effortlessly and without sacrificing comfort”. Can you think of a more timely launch? I have been making a concerted effort during the weekdays to get up, shower, put on my make-up, and get dressed just as I did when I was able to leave the house to go to my office or for client meetings. We are lucky that we can still have some of those meetings remotely, so I want to ensure that I look professional. I also feel so much better when I have my face on and am actually dressed than I do on the weekends as of late when I have been living in workout pants and t-shirts. More than ever before, attitude is everything right now. I don’t know about you, but I feel so much better when I know that I look pulled together. In fact, as I sit here writing this, I am wearing one of my favorite, easy dresses in navy blue. It’s the kind of dress I can wear with nice jewelry and chic sandals for work or with my favorite hat and a pair of Birkenstocks on the weekend!
