A Note on Style: My October Mood

Hello LDV readers. It’s Karima from A Note on Style with an edit of covetable items curated for an October moodboard. My current favorite pieces of the season are accessories. They’re transformative and quickly add polish and panache to any fall ensemble. These timeless pieces never go out of style and look better than ever nonchalantly layered and worn with ease. Adding any of the above accessories will instantly elevate an outfit – from a tweed jacket with jeans to a minimalist black sheath. I’m particularly fond of leathers in rich warm brown tones punctuated with a decent dose of gold hardware. Black bags and belts additionally benefit from gold accents with both familiar and updated motifs that add a sophisticated note. Patterned scarves add a jaunty air when casually tied at the neck. The idea is to avoid perfection and knot freely. Don’t walk out the door without one or more pieces of heavy gold jewelry. Go bold with an oversized signet ring, statement chain-link necklaces, artsy bangles, and a leather strapped watch.
