By the time August rolls around in Houston, I am usually over the heat and have begun dreaming about the cooler months ahead! I know it will be a while before the heat subsides here, but I am hoping to get a little break from it when my shop partner, Devon and I head to New York in a couple of weeks and then Paris with our husbands at the end of the month. Hopefully, the heat wave that has been plaguing Europe will be gone by then! Between work travel, designing for new projects, and keeping up with our shop, Paloma & Co, I honestly haven’t had a split second to begin thinking about these trips, what to pack, etc. with all of the exciting things that have been taking shape here at home, but I do know one thing, whether it’s for the home or what to pack, you can never go wrong with a chic black and white color palette. It may sound boring to some, but it is honestly my favorite color combination. It is classic, chic, and timeless. It can go modern or traditional and is the perfect backdrop for just about anything. As I plan for my upcoming trips and we work on some new projects in the office, here is a bit of what has been inspiring me lately. What are you in the mood for this month?
